Suspended in the central atrium of Alltech’s European headquarters is a sculpture composed of bent dichroic acrylic, aluminum tubes and stainless-steel hardware. The overall work is approximately 16′ in diameter. The work represents the work that is done by Alltech, which is an international company that develops and manufactures innovative natural feed supplements that improve animal health and performance. The dichroic elements are formed to create DNA, which is fundamental to Alltech’s research.

The sculpture was intended to introduce a dynamic quality to the atrium space, establishing it as the central organizing space in the complex. The curvilinear forms were used as a counterbalance to all the other architectural elements, which were all rectilinear. The sculpture brings color into the space, which is intended to enliven the space.
