The objective of the glass composition for the entrance of the club was to create an appearance of the rhythmic, spontaneous, and dynamic quality of jazz.  To achieve this hand-crafted glass prisms were laminated to the exterior of the etched, tempered glass panels so as the polished edges with reflect the exterior light during the day and from the lights of passing cars at night, which visually animates the glass forms.  From the interior the prisms distort and reorient the imagery seen through the glass creating a dynamic, animated appearance.
