McCarran Airport Terminal

“Dadale”

Suspended at the intersection of two concourses in the international terminal, “Dadale” provides a symbolic identity for the space. The artwork is inspired by the myth of Daedalus, the master architect and craftsman of ancient Greece, and reflects themes of invention, flight, and responsibility.

Crafted from dichroic glass, aluminum tubes, and stainless steel cables, the sculpture changes appearance as light interacts with its materials. As an airport glass installation, it serves both a visual and narrative purpose, honoring aviation through myth and material.
