Aero-Propulsion and Mechatronics Building

Diagonally spanning the atrium of the entry lobby is a suspended sculpture composed of curved dichroic acrylic, stainless steel tube, hardware and cables. The work is composed of two dichroic elements: three concentric circular forms surrounded by swirling ribbons. These represent the research done within the facility on propulsion, mechatronics and energy. The work is located slightly above eye level from the balcony overlooking the atrium space.
