Cafe Vettro features a striking interior defined by 92 sculptural glass cones, strategically arranged throughout the restaurant. These cones, ranging in height from 60 to 96 inches, are crafted from over 8,000 individual pieces of ¾-inch thick plate glass, precisely cut using water jet technology. This large-scale architectural glass installation brings both function and beauty to the space.
Each cone is internally illuminated with LED lighting at the base, creating a subtle glow that enhances the glass’s depth and clarity. Beyond aesthetics, the cones serve a spatial purpose, helping to define different areas within the restaurant and guiding the natural flow of circulation.
To ensure safety, each glass element is laminated with a protective film on the downward-facing surface. This project is a compelling example of custom glass sculpture in Las Vegas, showcasing innovation in both design and fabrication while enhancing the dining experience through light, material, and form.
