Great American Tower at Queen City Square

Located in the rotunda entry of the 41 story skyscraper, designed by the renowned architect, Gyo Obata of HOK, is a suspended light/sculpture. The light/sculpture is composed of prismatic glass bonded permanently to fins of tempered glass and is illuminated internally with LED’s and from above with ceiling fixtures. The glistening sculpture is reflected in the rotunda windows at night creating a unique appearance.

This work is located across the street from another von Roenn project, Queen City Cathedral, https://kvrstudio.com/christ-church-cathedral/, and is 2 blocks from another work at Fountain Square, https://kvrstudio.com/fountain-square/
